Woodside is a rural retreat, set in a beautiful, tranquil setting of 10 acres of paddock and ancient bluebell woods, offering two sumptuous accommodations in the main house and a luxury yurt in our woodland for those wishing to try fashionable glamping. We also have 4 tipid. Glampers use the Health Suite body jet shower and loo. Breakfast for glampers is optional and charged separately. Glamping is from April to September/October. We offer a Health Suite with Infrared Sauna and Hot Tub, private masseuse & reiki, delicious home cooked, local food, gourmet breakfasts (which have been awarded the 2010 and 2011 Breakfast Award by Quality in Tourism)and A la Carte diners with wine and an array of complimentary "goodies".

Located in the picturesque High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in the heart of the countryside of East Sussex, bordering Kent, it is perfectly located just 10-25 minutes from the tourist orientated towns of Battle, Robertsbridge, Rye, Bodiam, Tenterden, Goudhurst and Tunbridge Wells and only 15 minutes from the seaside resorts of Hastings and fabulous sand dunes at Camber sands. The area is steeped in history and boasts an array of historic castle, houses, gardens and places of interest. Woodside is an ideal place to stay in a luxurious and peaceful surrounding whilst treating it as a base for exploring and undertaking activities such as country and woodland walks, cycling, clay shooting and golf or simply relax in our gardens with a book!

Woodside is an exquisitly architectured, bespoke designed, residence built in the Gothic Victorian style which was completed in 2005. This magnificent property was featured in, and depicted on the front cover of, "Self Build" magazine and has been built with sumptuous, comfortable, relaxed, luxury living and lesiure in mind. It boasts large airy rooms with designer fittings throughout and includes a full Home Cinema with 9ft screen and a sumptuous private Health Suite, for the use of our guests. We have created a lovely home that we are very happy to share and we hope the atmosphere that we have created will make our guests long to return.

The establishment is also licensed so you can accompany the A la Carte evening meals with a selection of aperatifs, wines, champange, spirits and cocktails.
