These unique handmade shepherds' huts offer a beautiful boutique camping holiday in the tiny Sussex village of Bodiam. Only yards from the fairytale castle, the huts are situated in a wooded glade between the river Rother and the steam railway, yet it is only a short walk to the local pub!
Both huts offer accommodation for up to four people through bunk beds and a double bed. A gas hob and an outside fire pit provide cooking facilities and a separate hut offers piping hot showers, toilets and basins. The wash hut is equipped with two separate showers and private wash rooms.
The huts are designed to have minimal impact on the environment built on site they use primarily reclaimed and recycled products. Wherever possible the timber for both building and fuel are sourced from sustainable woodland on the farm. The electricity for lighting is provided via a solar panel in the roof.
Bespoke huts are also made to order.
