I am Australian researching my family history. I have discovered an ancestor who was transported as convict who was born in Battle Sussex. Detail: Edward Fuller, born 22/1/1785; parents Robert Fuller and Sarah Savage/Savige. I am coming to England in April/May 2008 and would like to trace my ancestor's history in Battle. If anyone has any information on records, burials, etc. I would be most grateful |

I am tracing my family history and I'm looking for any facts about my grand parents or where abouts in Battle they lived. Their name was Percival and May Quinnell and they were married in 1932 in Battle. I can remember their house being near a church that was situated in a woods near a park. I belive it was called "the little church in the woods" but im not sure. If anyone can help with my search I would be very gratful.

I had an Ancestor, Drogo DE Brevere, who was the Conqueror's cousin-in-law, from Flanders.
